2026 BCBP Kalibo State of Affairs: Key Achievements and Community Engagement

This video outlines our key activities, milestones, and strategic initiatives so far this year.

You will find an overview of our membership profile for 2026. As of the second quarter, we maintain a steady membership count of 141, with a gender distribution of 49% men and 51% ladies.

Regarding tithes, the chapter has maintained consistent performance through the first two quarters of the year, reaching a total of over 84,000 pesos in the second quarter.

Attendance metrics across our various activities show varied engagement levels, highlighting our focus on community gatherings, teaching sessions, and our annual general meeting.

We are pleased to report on our reach to new individuals, having welcomed 11 first-timers in the first quarter and 24 in the second, reflecting our ongoing outreach efforts.

Our mission work has been extensive. We conducted numerous breakfast meetings and outreach events in Kalibo and successfully launched a new satellite breakfast mission in Nabas.

In terms of formation, we have successfully concluded the Christian Life Program with 38 graduates, while also facilitating essential team training and youth sessions.

Our engagement continued with participation in regional breakfasts and a dedicated tree-planting activity hosted by the Women’s Council in June.

Formation activities from April through June included various Masses, leadership retreats, and our 27th-anniversary celebrations, bringing the community together for prayer and fellowship.

Our Communications and Digital Directorate initiatives have optimized internal collaboration via digital tools and enhanced our community engagement through social media and website updates.

Program and Service Directorate highlights include our Visita Iglesia, scholarship coordination, medical missions, and joyful fellowship events celebrating our members.

With our Family and Life Directorate, we participated in regional onboarding and organized a successful Regional Youth Camp this past May.

We have identified key areas for improvement, including the need to upgrade worn-out equipment and enhance member participation in our tithing pledge.

Finally, we are actively implementing action plans to boost activity attendance, balance the ratio of men to women, and support the growth of our married couple membership.
