Dear Brothers and Sisters of the BCBP Malay Mission,
As I sit down to write this, my heart is overflowing with a mix of immense pride and deep gratitude. Reflecting on the past two years, Yeye and I have had the distinct privilege of watching the BCBP Malay Mission grow from a seedling of hope into the vibrant, powerhouse community it is today.
Seeing the members of CLP 1 and CLP 2 take full charge of the recent Medical Mission was a defining moment for us. Watching you handle the complexities of planning and implementation with such excellence and grace felt like watching our own children take flight. You have matured into leaders who do not just “show up” but who lead with a heart for service that is truly Christ-centered.
However, as the seasons change, so must leadership. I want to share with you that Yeye and I are preparing to step down as your Chapter Heads. In a few months, a new Chapter Head will be chosen to lead BCBP Kalibo. While change can often feel uncertain, we want to encourage you to embrace this transition with the same fire and dedication you have shown us.
Our prayer is that the same unwavering support and commitment you gave during our term will continue under the new leadership. The mission in Malay is a vital part of God’s vineyard, and it requires your continued passion to keep flourishing.
Please remember that God has a master plan for us all. Whether we are leading or following, His timing is perfect, and His intentions are always for the ultimate good of the BCBP and for each of us personally.
Thank you for being the joy of our service. We may be stepping back from our roles, but we will always be your biggest cheerleaders, watching with love as you continue to bring Christ into the marketplace of Malay.
