MALAY, AKLAN – On Saturday, July 26, 2025, another significant milestone occurred in Malay, Aklan, as the first group of Christian Life Program (CLP) graduates formally joined the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP). The time-honored commitment ceremony, officiated by Chapter Head Jerome Quimpo and assisted by Outreach Head Alexys Apolonio, took place on the top floor of the CBTMPC building in downtown Malay. This event marked nearly a year since the initial CLP session began in the outreach.
The BCBP Christian Life Program (CLP) is designed to equip Christian businessmen and professionals with the spiritual foundation and tools to seamlessly integrate their faith into their professional lives. This initiative promotes a marketplace defined by integrity, compassion, honesty, and service to others, aligning business practices with Christian values.
The Commitment ceremony followed a heartfelt Holy Mass, celebrated by BCBP chaplain Rev. Fr. Vincent Cajilig. In a poignant moment, the graduates solemnly signed at the altar and submitted their commitment cards for the priest’s blessings. This act symbolized their dedication to living out the principles learned throughout the CLP, promising to be agents of positive change in their respective industries and communities.
This event not only celebrated the spiritual journey of these graduates but also highlighted the growing presence and impact of faith-based movements like the BCBP in empowering individuals to live purposeful lives that extend beyond personal gain. The Commitment rites served as a spiritual commissioning, setting forth these newly confirmed members to evangelize the marketplace and promote a business environment rooted in Christ-centric values.
