FAQs
BROTHERHOOD OF CHRISTIAN BUSINESSMEN AND PROFESSIONALS (BCBP Kalibo)
Brother’s Keeper v 3.0
1.) What is Brother’s Keeper (BK3)?
It is a powerful cloud-based database system that was rolled out and implemented in all BCBP chapters nationwide and the whole world. It includes not only the members’ personal contact information but all other data relating to BCBP membership.
2.) Why, when and how was BK3 created?
The COVID-19 pandemic of 2019 directly spurred the development of BK3. The crisis highlighted the importance of utilizing online platforms and social media to facilitate communication within the BCBP and with the public without the necessity of a face to face interaction. Subsequently, National contracted with Digiteer Inc., a software company based in Manila, to create and bring to life Brother’s Keeper.
3.) Who has access to BK3?
Member personal information is typically accessible only to the individual member. However, for administrative and leadership purposes, Chapter, Regional, and National Leaders have access to data within their jurisdiction. This access is granted on a need-to-know basis and is subject to strict confidentiality protocols to protect member privacy. It enables them to make informed decisions about a variety of matters including but not limited to national, regional and chapter events and/or communicate effectively with members.
4.) How can I register in BK3?
Getting started with BK3 is easy for BCBP Kalibo members! Just fill out the online registration form here. We’ll quickly verify your membership, and then you’ll be all set. You’ll receive a welcome email with your login details and simple instructions. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be ready to explore BK3.
