A New Journey Begins: Malay, Aklan BCLP No. 2 Kicks Off

25 Individuals Begin a Spiritual Journey at Malay BCLP No. 2

The second Malay Mission BCBP Christian Life Program (CLP) kicked off on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the CBTMTC building in Caticlan, Malay, Aklan. The inaugural session marked the start of a 13-week spiritual journey for 25 new participants.

The program, officially known as Malay BCLP No. 2, is designed to deepen attendees’ understanding of Christian life and community, preparing them for future integration into the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP).

A Day of Prayer, Fellowship, and Foundation

Even before the day began, the Intercessory Ministry worked tirelessly behind the scenes, upholding the event in prayer and ensuring its success.

The session started with a shared breakfast, setting a warm and welcoming tone. Husband and wife team Erwin and Aileen Alonsagay served as breakfast sharers, providing a personal touch to the morning.

With much fanfare, the Music Ministry filled the room with vibrant, uplifting songs, creating a jubilant atmosphere for the day. The program officially got underway with personal testimonies from my husband Mark Narandan and I, laying the groundwork for the main Talk.

One of BCBP Kalibo’s adept communicators Felix Jizmundo then delivered the foundational talk, “Who is Jesus Christ?” This crucial topic helped participants establish or reaffirm their personal relationship with Christ.

After his talk, attendees broke into small groups for a discussion, fostering deeper reflection and shared learning.

The session concluded at 6:00 PM with a group evaluation, allowing participants to share their initial impressions and reflect on the day’s discussions. The diverse group of 25 participants—including six men and two couples—set a strong foundation for the weeks to come, promising a journey of spiritual growth and community building for everyone involved.
