PREFACE: One year ago, on October 13, 2023, a historic moment unfolded in Malay province as BCBP Kalibo hosted its inaugural breakfast. This gathering marked a significant transition, occurring just before the end of the previous administration’s term and the commencement of the new Chapter Head’s leadership. What began tentatively as a simple Saturday morning breakfast has evolved into an enduring tradition, with countless individuals from the mother BCBP Kalibo community already sharing their life lessons and testimonials. The resounding success of these weekly breakfasts has culminated in the establishment back in August of 2024 of the first ever Brotherhood Christian Life Program (BCLP No. 1) in Malay province, a thriving initiative by the Mission Outreach team spearheaded by bro. Marven and Johanna Ignacio, bro. Bonnie Dela Torre and bro. JayR Villaruel. This keynote address was delivered on October 13, 2024 at the CBTMPC Bldg. in downtown Caticlan, Malay, Aklan.
Good morning esteemed members of the BCBP Kalibo Mission Outreach, associate breakfasters, first-timers and distinguished guests.
I am honored to stand before you today to congratulate each and every one of you on the remarkable occasion of the first anniversary of the BCBP breakfasts in Malay, Aklan. This is a momentous milestone that reflects your unwavering commitment to serving the community and spreading the message of faith and compassion.
Over the past year, you have dedicated your time, energy, and resources to organize these breakfasts, bringing people together in a spirit of love and unity. Your efforts have not only nourished the bodies of those who have partaken of the BCBP breakfasts but most importantly, also touched the hearts and minds of those who have listened to life-sharings of our members.
As I look around this room today, I am filled with admiration for the dedication and motivation that each of you brings to this mission outreach. Your selfless service and willingness to uplift others are truly inspirational, and I am grateful for the positive impact you have had on the lives of so many.
As we gather to celebrate today’s Grand Breakfast Anniversary, let us take a moment to reflect on the journey we have taken together and the lives we have touched along the way. Your work has made a tangible difference in the Malay community, and I am confident that it will continue to make a difference for years to come.
On behalf of all those who have benefited from your kindness and generosity, I extend my heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to each and every one of you. May this anniversary be a time of joy, reflection, and renewed commitment to the mission of BCBP Kalibo.
To all our brothers and sisters that make up our Mission Outreach, thank you for your dedication, your compassion, and your unwavering faith. Here’s to many more years of spreading love and hope through your BCBP breakfasts not just here in Malay but also at all other outreach locations we may establish in the future.
Congratulations once again, and may God bless your endeavors abundantly.
