Kalibo, Aklan – On August 2, 2024, the BCBP Kalibo Chapter community gathered for a spiritually enriching evening that began with a Teaching session and culminated in a First Friday Mass. The event was sponsored by the St. Padre Pio Action Group.
Teaching on “The Great Commission“
The Teaching night commenced at 6 PM, led by the Teaching Ministry headed by Bro. Richard Delgado. The featured speaker, Bro. Alexys Apolonio, delved into the topic of “The Great Commission,” the second session of the Evangelization Program Series. Bro. Alexys’ insightful talk inspired and motivated the attendees to reflect on their role in spreading the message of the Gospel.

First Friday Mass
Following the Teaching session, the community heard the First Friday Mass at 6:30 PM. The Mass was officiated by the esteemed Rev. Fr. Vincent Cajilig, the BCBP Kalibo Chaplain. The solemn and uplifting atmosphere of the Mass provided a spiritual renewal for all those in attendance.


Blessing of Celebrators and Agape Feast
After the Mass, a special blessing was bestowed upon the birthday and wedding anniversary celebrants. This heartwarming gesture recognized and celebrated the milestones in their lives.
To conclude the evening, a delightful Agape feast was held, generously sponsored by the celebrants themselves. This fellowship gathering provided an opportunity for the community to connect, share experiences, and strengthen their bonds.

Community Participation and Sponsorship
The event was a resounding success, with 73 BCBP members actively participating. The St. Padre Pio Action Group played a significant role in sponsoring and organizing this meaningful gathering.
