Bro. Jerome and sis. Yeye Quimpo are the 2024-2027 BCBP Kalibo Chapter Head Honchos

After months of deliberation, the BCBP leadership has selected Jerome and Yeye Quimpo to be the next leaders of the BCBP Kalibo chapter. The veteran servant-couple’s selection was no surprise to many in the community who knew them to be performers in previous Governance administrations.

The news of the couple’s ascension to the pole position spread quickly among BCBP Kalibo members’ Facebook Messenger groups on August 28, 2023. However, it appears that some senior leaders of the community had already known of it for some time.

The incoming Chapter Heads, along with their new Governance Team, will be installed in early February of 2024 and their administration will be effective until 2027. According to insiders who have spoken to the new leaders, they plan not only to strengthen the existing framework of the community but also to spearhead new innovations and developments in digital communications to simplify the Governance as well as the community’s communication structure. As a tech-head himself, Jerome is expected to optimize omni-channels of communication and information sharing using newly-available and affordable technology platforms.

To help them govern, Jerome and Yeye have appointed a new Governance Team composed of:

• Formation Heads: Drs. Vim and Queenie Samonte
• PSD Head: Mark Isturris
• Family and Life Heads: Dence and Wen Lim
• Communications and Digital Directorate (CDD) Head: Max Ereño, Jr.
• Chapter Treasurers: Ferdinand and Retchilyn Lucerio
• Unit Leaders: Hermo and Rhean Patacsil, Ronel Tersol, and Marietta Tapic

The community is excited to see what the new leaders have in store for BCBP Kalibo. With their combined experience, expertise and dedication -inspired by their adopted logo of a rising sun over Kalibo- they are sure to lead the chapter into a brighter and better future for all its members.
